SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF WHITE OYSTER MUSHROOM SPAWNS AND FULLY COLONIZED MUSHROOM GARDENS

1. INTRODUCTION

Andre Foods International (AFI) is a national Non-Governmental Organization registered with the Government of Uganda under the National NGO Bureau. AFI’s head office is located at Millennium Plaza, Plot 69/71 Spring Road, Bugolobi, Kampala, with field offices across multiple regions including Karamoja. 

• PURPOSE

AFI invites eligible and reputable suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of;

• White Oyster Mushroom spawns – 16,400 Units
• Fully Colonized Oyster Mushroom Gardens – 4,700 Gardens

• SCOPE OF SUPPLY

AFI seeks qualified suppliers/vendors/farmers with proven experience to supply and deliver the above items to the following sub-offices/Districts: Karenga, Kaabong, Abim, Kotido, Napak, Moroto, Nabilatuk, Nakapiripirit, and Amudat.

Suppliers are required to note the following specifications:

• Mushroom gardens and spawns must be freshly colonized and free from any type of Mould.
• Spawns must be delivered in glass bottles to minimize contamination.
• Each spawn unit should be sufficient to inoculate/establish at least five (5) gardens.
• Mushroom gardens must be packed in transparent bags.
• All gardens must be fully colonized at the time of delivery.
• Quotations must clearly indicate delivery timelines and proposed payment/credit terms.
• Prices quoted must be inclusive of transportation and delivery to all specified locations.

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Vendors expressing their interest are requested to submit the following minimum documents.

1. Company Profile
2. Valid Trading/Business licence
3. Certificate of Registration/Incorporation
4. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate shared to AFI TIN 1010682749
5. Evidence of experience in similar supplies (attach references or past contracts)

• EVALUATION CRITERIA

Quotations will be evaluated based on: Compliance with technical specifications, Price competitiveness, Delivery timeline, and Payment terms.

Interested and eligible bidders are invited to submit sealed quotations clearly marked with the reference number above, not later than 16:00 hours on 6^th July 2026, to:

• AFI Sub-offices in Moroto or Kotido

AFI reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and is not bound to award the contract to the lowest bidder.
